The London Military Family Resource Centre invites you to walk or run in support of Military Families, the Strength Behind the Uniform. What? 5 km or 8 km walk or run Where? Springbank Park When? Saturday, September 26. Check in 9-10:30 a.m., walk/run 10:30 followed by barbecue lunch and family activities How much? Saturday August 22 2009	The Matt Dining "RIDE FOR HEROES" Plans have all fallen into place and the event of the year is about to happen - we have a lot of support from a lot of different outfits and now all we really need is YOUR support to make this event such a huge success that Military Police both serving and veteran will talk about it for years to come. Anyone who rides a motorcycle or anyone who wants to become a part of this undertaking and only drives a car can participate. The “Ride For Heroes” is not for the “Bikers” nor is it for those that come in their cars, IT IS FOR THE HEROES THAT HAVE GIVEN THE ULTIMATE, MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED, WITHOUT THOUGHTS OF THEIR OWN MORTALITY, LIKE MATT DINNING AND RANDY PAYNE. Aug. 15-16 2009	Canada Remembers Air Show http://www.canadaremembersairshow.com/	Please be advised that after a 15 year run, the final Canada Remembers Air Show 'Tribute to Veterans' is scheduled for Aug. 15-16 in Saskatoon; there is an official Red Friday Rally event being set for Aug. 14 as a kick-off to the Tribute weekend. The Snowbirds, SkyHawks Parachute Team, CF-18 Hornet, other performances with U.S. & Canadian military displays will supplement the event.
